Found a refrence to this statement on deseretnews.com while I was reading about BYU's pasting of a PAC-10 pansy. (Hey Ben, didn't Arizona lose to MWC team on Saturday as well?)

Your Mom and I have been asked to be the reps for our ward to encourage voting for Prop 102 Marriage Amendment in the upcoming election. Interesting situation considering my personal views on the constitution and gay marriage. That article you gave the link for is perfect, as we would expect from the Church.
